Requirements:
1) Certificate of competence CM or Master
2) Endorsement
3) General Operators Certificate (incl. endorsement)
4) Dangerous goods/Hazmat certificate
5) Basic Safety training certificate
6) Proficiency in survival craft and rescue boats certificate
7) Advanced firefighting certificate
8) Medical care certificate
9) Ship’s security officer certificate
10) ECDIS certificate
11) Medical examination, issued for 1 year recently
12) Yellow fever certificate
13) USA visa
14) Seaman’s book (national)
15) Good English
The nominee must have not less than 1 year experience in rank on similar size/type of vessel
